This oldest tradition of entertainment in Weidenpescher Park features a 55-hectare green area which is maintained by the original founding members of the racing club - a cross-section of the high society at the time. This elite group included bankers, early industrialists, and wealthy merchants who were passionate about horses and wanted to make sure that their legacy would live on in this centuries-old tradition.
